Open Spaces
A MKAO Missional Community

Where the sense of Belonging and the sense of Purpose intersect for Community Presence in Kaka`ako
Dinners: Share a meal. Share a story.
We have weekly meals to simply eat together and to talk story. It’s a family meal and everyone is welcomed like family. This is how we practice being present with one another and facilitating a sense of belonging.
Practical Experiences: Connecting Purpose
and Passion
We have once a month experiences where we move out together into the community around us through either service (like implementing a food drive for the most vulnerable in Kaka`ako) or cultural engagement (like taking a private walking tour of Pow Wow’s building murals). This is how we practice being present in the community and facilitating a sense of purpose.
